Among vintage printed tees, you sometimes find one that was made for a single night. This is one of those.
Its past life
From 1947 to 1964, St. Louis, Missouri had a drive-in called "Wild's Palace of Poison". In 1994 the car lovers who used to hang out there met again, and this shirt was made for that Second Annual Reunion.
The print
On the front: a skull and crossbones, a tombstone and the drive-in itself, with "Cruisin' Will Never Die!" and "Eat Here If It Kills You". The back is packed with logos of local garages and sponsors.
Body and size
Fruit of the Loom BEST, 50/50 cotton-polyester, made in U.S.A. A true oversized XXL. It has the natural feel of a 30-year-old shirt, with no noticeable damage.
Who it's for
Anyone who likes things a little sinister and very cool: classic American cars, rockabilly, hot rods.
